A cycle is when the tap is turned on after sitting idle for greater than
2 hours. You can count or estimate how many cycles exist per day and x 7

To calculate the actual water loss, measure the amount of water you would normally let run down the drain before the hot water arrives to the supply outlet, using a measuring jug and bucket. This is the amount to enter into the "Litres Recovered" column for each individual recovery
